Abstract: This research focuses on the modern mathematical reconstruction of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory of yin-yang and five elements using the theory of dynamical systems control. By deeply analyzing the core connotation of the yin-yang and five elements theory and combining with the basic principles and methods of the theory of dynamical systems control, the yin-yang variables are defined, and a mathematical model of the five elements generation and restriction relationships is constructed to achieve a mathematical expression of this theory. The reconstructed theory shows significant advantages in terms of scientificity, accuracy, and quantifiability, providing new perspectives and methods for the modernization research of TCM. It is expected to play an important role in fields such as the standardization of TCM diagnosis and the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine. At the same time, it also provides the possibility for the integration of TCM and Western medicine theories, promoting the further development of TCM theory in the international medical field.
