Abstract: This research aims to transform the theory of five elements generation and restriction into a coupling factor model to address the difficulty of quantitative expression in the context of modern science and promote the integration of traditional theory and modern science. Through theoretical analysis, the internal relationship between the five elements generation and restriction and the coupling factor is deeply analyzed. With the help of model construction, the transformation idea is established, the model parameters are set, and the transformation from the five elements generation and restriction to the coupling factor is realized. The study finds that the transformed coupling factor model shows significant application value and significance in multidisciplinary fields such as traditional Chinese medicine and ecology, providing a new perspective and method for the modernization of traditional theory and multidisciplinary development.
