Abstract: This research aims to deeply analyze the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) "syndrome" and "treatment" from the perspective of category theory, so as to reveal the underlying structure of TCM. By applying the basic concepts and principles of category theory to the theory of TCM, the concepts related to "syndrome" and "treatment" and their relationships are mapped and interpreted. The study found that the TCM "syndrome" has the characteristics of a holistic and hierarchical category structure, while "treatment" shows the characteristics of a dynamic and relevant category structure. These findings not only provide a new perspective for in - depth understanding of TCM theory and help to reveal the internal logic of TCM theory, but also are of great significance for promoting the modernization of TCM and optimizing clinical treatment strategies, opening up a new research direction for the inheritance and innovation of TCM theory.
