Abstract: Abstract: Emotional diseases are a unique category of diseases in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), with disorders of zang-fu functions induced by emotional stimulation as the core pathological link. Based on the theoretical foundation of TCM classic literature such as Huangdi Neijing, this study integrated the research results of modern neurobiology, psychology and other multidisciplinary fields, systematically constructed a complete therapeutic theoretical system covering 20 emotional diseases, clarified the corresponding relationship between the five elements and emotions, as well as the pathological mechanisms (Cheng, Wu, Kang, Dao) and regulatory mechanisms (Sheng, Hua, Fu, Zhi, Zhi, Yang). The three-dimensional comprehensive intervention model of "regulating emotions, harmonizing zang-fu organs, and following five movements" was proposed, and the pathogenesis and intervention schemes of 20 emotional diseases were explained according to the five zang-fu systems of wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The scientificity of traditional theories was verified with modern research. The study confirmed that the essential pathogenesis of emotional diseases is the imbalance of neuroendocrine-immune network, and this system provides theoretical guidance and practical support for the prevention and treatment of modern psychosomatic diseases, promoting the modern transformation of TCM emotional theory.
