Abstract: Objective The purpose of this paper is to explore the application of a student-centered teaching method (PAL) and problem-based learning (PBL) in emergency nursing students.Methods 84 nursing students who came to our hospital from September 2023 to January 2024 were selected as research objects, randomly divided into research group and control group, with 42 emergency nursing students in each group. The research group adopted the teaching mode of PAL combined with PBL, while the control group adopted the traditional teaching method of scheduling teaching. After the course, the teaching method was evaluated by the emergency theoretical knowledge assessment, practical operation scoring criteria and questionnaire survey.Results The results between the two tests were significantly higher than those of the control group (P <0.05); the learning interest, independent learning ability and adaptability of the interns in the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P <0.05), and the knowledge and information (P> 0.05). Conclusion The teaching method of PAL and PBL helps to improve the theoretical knowledge and practical performance, the ability of independent learning and their enthusiasm, and improve the quality of emergency teaching.
