Abstract: PAD Class (Presentation-Assimilation-Discussion) combines the traditional teacher-teaching mode with the popular student-discussion mode, which is divided into processes: presentation, assimilation and discussion according to time. This new mode emphasizes the autonomous construction of students in students’ learning and increases the interaction of teaching situations, so that both teachers and students play a role in the classroom. The COVID-19 epidemic has led the reform of online and offline teaching. Combined with the PAD Class and online and offline teaching, the subject constructs the integrated teaching model based on the PAD Class, In the teaching of medical literature retrieval courses, carries out the teaching practice in the aspects of teaching-task design, classroom implementation and assessment-mode reform, and summarizes the teaching effect and existing problems, so as to provide references for classroom reform.
