Practical exploration of curriculum-based ideological and political education in Endocrinology and Metabolism: a case study of the diabetes mellitus chapter

• 摘要：目的　探索课程思政融入内分泌代谢病学教学的实践路径及效果,为临床医学专业课程思政建设提供参考。方法　基于“健康中国2030”战略背景,从国家战略要求、疾病防治形势与医学生成长需求论述课程思政必要性；以糖尿病章节为例,阐述“健康中国2030”内涵、运用多元教学方法培养临床辩证思维、穿插学科史实等教学路径,以及构建“学校+医院”协同育人模式、融合叙事医学的临床实践路径,并评估教学效果。结果　融入课程思政促进了学生专业知识掌握与临床思维能力提升,增强了职业责任感、使命感与人文关怀意识,师生评价良好。结论　课程思政融入内分泌代谢病学教学具有可行性与推广价值,有助于培养德才兼备的新时代医学人才。

  Abstract: Objective To explore the practical pathway and effect of integrating curriculum-based ideological and political education into the teaching of Endocrinology and Metabolism, so as to provide reference for the construction of ideological and political education in clinical medicine courses. Methods Against the background of the “Healthy China 2030” strategy, the necessity of carrying out curriculum-based ideological and political education was discussed from the aspects of national strategic requirements, the prevention and treatment situation of endocrine diseases and the growth needs of medical students. Taking the chapter of diabetes mellitus as an example, the theoretical teaching pathway was introduced, including interpreting the connotation of “Healthy China 2030”, cultivating clinical dialectical thinking through multiple teaching methods, and interspersing historical events of endocrinology; the clinical practice pathway of a “school + hospital” collaborative education model integrated with narrative medicine was also constructed, and the teaching practice was summarized and evaluated. Results The integration of curriculum-based ideological and political education promoted students’ mastery of professional knowledge and clinical thinking ability, and enhanced their sense of professional responsibility, mission and humanistic care, with good feedback from teachers and students. Conclusion It is feasible and worth promoting to integrate curriculum-based ideological and political education into the teaching of Endocrinology and Metabolism, which helps to cultivate medical talents with both professional competence and moral integrity in the new era.
