Abstract: This paper analyzes the problems existing in carrying out Python programming courses in medical colleges and universities, and proposes a case-based instructional design mode. Taking the development of text mining information system as an example, this paper elaborates the design process of the teaching mode of Python programming courses based on case driving. It not only cultivates medical students strong interest in programming language courses, but also closely combines medical majors with programming language courses to solve practical medical-related problems with information technology, and cultivates medical majors ability to solve relevant problems with informatics technology.
