Abstract: Purpose/Significance In order to meet the demand of new engineering for the cultivation of high-quality and compound talents, and to embody the characteristic of Medical Engineering in medical information engineering, the paper proposed a teaching model oriented to the cultivation of practical and innovation ability. Method/Process In light of the current issues in C programming language teaching, we adjust teaching targets, flexibly apply and innovate teaching methods, expand application cases in the medical field, and give full play to the role of extracurricular activities and subject competitions as carriers. Result/Conclusion This approach significantly stimulates students interest and initiative in learning, guides them to pay attention to the application of information engineering technology in the medical field, encourages them to carry out project practices and innovations, and results in a notable improvement in teaching effectiveness.
