Abstract: Ischemic stroke is a type of cerebrovascular disease with high incidence, disability rate,?and mortality. Currently, there is no effective treatment?to?improve neurological function after stroke, so it is urgent to develop new treatment strategies to improve the prognosis of patients. Exosomes are a type of extracellular vesicle?secreted by cells. They?can cross the blood-brain barrier and participate in intercellular?communication. As an important medium of cell communication, the key role of exosomes in the diagnosis and treatment of ischemic stroke has been confirmed by?numerous?studies.?Building on their diagnostic?significance, this article focuses on reviewing the role of exosomes in the treatment of ischemic stroke, aiming to provide more effective?treatment?strategies?for?this disease.
