Abstract: Objective To explore the mechanism and clinical translation prospects of neural immune regulation of Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition (EMT) in gastric cancer metastasis. Methods Systematically retrieve relevant foreign literature in recent years, summarize the basic characteristics of neuroimmune composition, EMT, and gastric cancer metastasis, and focus on analyzing the regulation of EMT by neurotransmitters and immune cells, and the molecular mechanisms by which related transcription factors and neuroimmune signals promote gastric cancer metastasis. Results Neuroimmunity significantly affects the EMT process by reshaping the tumor microenvironment, thereby driving gastric cancer metastasis. Intervention strategies targeting the neuroimmunity-EMT axis have shown some potential in basic research, but the evidence for clinical translation is insufficient, and the chemokine axis and its downstream key targets need further validation. Conclusion The neuroimmune-EMT axis provides a new perspective for understanding gastric cancer metastasis. In the future, it is necessary to promote the translation of basic research findings into clinical intervention strategies.
