Abstract: : Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of compound soap horn thorn soup combined with carplatin abdominal heat perfusion in the treatment of ovarian cancer malignant ascites (spleen and kidney yang deficiency type). Methods: 60 patients with ovarian cancer malignant ascites admitted to Changde First Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from November 2024 to November 2025 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases each. The control group was given single-drug carplatin abdominal heat perfusion chemotherapy, and the treatment group took the compound soap horn thorn soup on the basis of the control group. The total treatment efficiency, ascites relief efficiency, malignant ascites abdominal circumference, Karnofsky functional status scoring standard (KPS score), traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, serum were recorded. CA125 protein level and the incidence of adverse reactions. Results: The difference between the abdominal circumference, KPS score, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and serum CA125 protein levels of the two groups of patients before treatment was not statistically significant (P>0.05); After treatment, the observation results of therapeutic effect showed that the total treatment efficiency of the treatment group was 90.0% (27/30) higher than that of the 73.33% (22/30) (P<0.05) in the photo group; the ascites relief efficiency of the treatment group was 86.66% (26/30) higher than that of 66.67% (20/30) (P<0.05) in the control group; the malignant ascites abdominal circumference of the two groups of patients after treatment decreased (P<0.05 ), the score of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome and KPS score decreased (P<0.05), and the serum CA125 protein level decreased (P<0.05). The treatment group was better than the control group. Safety observation results show that the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups of patients is equivalent and the safety is high (P>0.05); Conclusion Compound soap horn thorn soup combined with carplatin abdominal heat perfusion to treat ovarian cancer malignant ascites (spleen and kidney yang deficiency type) can effectively reduce malignant ascites, control the progression of the disease, and improve the quality of survival of patients.
