Abstract: The theory of meridians has been validated by thousands of years of clinical practice in traditional Chinese medicine, yet modern anatomy has consistently failed to identify an independent "meridian channel" entity. Based on the classical theoretical frameworks of the Huangdi Neijing and Huangting Jing, and integrating recent advances in fascia research, neurobiology, and cell signal transduction, this paper proposes an integrated model termed the "Meridian Grid Theory." This model redefines the meridian system as a dynamic signal network composed of subcutaneous connective tissue, with acupoints serving as "energy switches for cell clusters" distributed across this network. The emergence of Ashi points as temporary "signal stations" inversely suggests that meridians form a grid-like structure covering the entire body. Furthermore, the "Three Dantians" are reinterpreted as three core regulatory hubs of the neuro-endocrine-immune network, and "Yuan Shen" (Primordial Spirit) is explained as the body's autonomous repair and immune regulation system. Through external interventions such as exercise and breath regulation, this signal network can be activated, prompting cells to "open" and absorb energy substances from the blood, thereby activating the body's self-repair mechanisms. This paper provides a modern scientific perspective for understanding classical theories of traditional Chinese medicine.
