Abstract: : Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of different combinations of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescriptions in combination with conventional western medicines in the treatment of coronary heart disease combined with depression using network meta-analysis. Method: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of Chinese herbal medicine combining with conventional western drugs for the treatment of coronary heart disease combined with depression up to March 17, 2024 were searched by computer on CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, Web of Science, EMbase, and Cochrane Library. Literature quality was evaluated using ROB 2.0 software and reticulated Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 16.0 software. Results: A total of 43 RCTs involving 8 efficacy combination modalities were included. The results of the analysis showed that the highest clinical efficacy was found in the heat-clearing and tranquilizing category of herbal compound + conventional western medicine (SUCRA = 78.7%), which significantly improved HAMD scores (83.2%). The effect of qi regulating type of Chinese medicine compound + conventional western medicine in treating angina pectoris was significant (SUCRA=64.4%), improved the efficacy of Chinese medicine symptoms (72.9%), and improved the efficacy of depression-related symptoms (95.0%). Conclusion: Compared with conventional Western medicines alone, the combined application of TCM compounding is more effective, in which regulating qi is the key to treating this disease. However, due to the wide variation in the quality of the included literature, more refined trials are needed for further validation.
