Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effect of different intraosseous patches on the improvement of upper limb function and activities of daily living in patients with stroke by using a reticulated meta-system. Methods: Two researchers independently searched PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, EMbase, China Knowledge, Wanfang, and Wipu databases for randomised controlled trials on the effect of intramuscular patches on improving the functional status of the upper limbs or the ability to perform activities of daily living in patients with stroke, using a computer, with a timeframe ranging from 2000 to 2024. March. Literature was screened individually, evaluated for quality, and identified for inclusion using RevMan 5.4 and Stata 17.0 software for reticulation meta-analysis. RESULTS: A total of 26 papers with 1037 patients were included, and the results of reticulated Meta-analysis showed that the combination of I + X + claw-shaped intramuscular patches, with a single patching time of 24-48h, provided the best improvement of upper limb function and daily living activities in stroke patients. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the current evidence, the optimal combination of intramuscular patches to improve upper limb function and activities of daily living in stroke patients is I + X + claw intramuscular patch, and the optimal duration of a single application is 24-48 h. However, due to various limitations, this conclusion should be viewed with caution in the clinical setting.
