Abstract: Objectives:A collection of studies on case-based payment systems for tuberculosis patients published by national and international scholars within the last 20 years. And to conduct evidence-based medical analyses, questioning the effect of payment models on the economic burden of disease among pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Methods:Literature was retrieved from databases such as CNKI, PubMed with the keywords“pulmonary tuberculosis/tuberculosis”and“payment”, and according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, literature was screened using NoteExpress software, and Revman5.3 software was used to perform a meta-analysis.Results:Among the 305 articles, only 10 articles met the inclusion criteria. The combined RR for the outcome indicator of reimbursement rate was 1.20 with a 95% confidence interval of 1.11-1.30 for the evidence-based analysis, and -5.56 with a 95% confidence interval of -10.05 for the indicator of personal out-of-pocket costs. However, the analysis of the outcome indicator of total medical costs revealed no statistically significant difference between the total medical costs of patients after the pilot and before the pilot.Conclusions:Case-based payment systems have helped to reduce the burden of pulmonary tuberculosis patients to a certain extent. However, pulmonary tuberculosis payment model should be further improved.A payment model for the prevention and control of pulmonary tuberculosis in our country should be explored.
