Abstract: Objective: In order to actively carry out the clinical pathway management and improve the disease coverage as the background, the information system was reformed, and the clinical pathway system was embedded into HIS system, which was convenient for clinicians to use. On the basis of this, the clinical pathway implementation effect evaluation and specific index data were provided for the management department to support the decision-making of the management. Methods: Analyzed the general application of clinical pathway system in hospital, and the clinical pathway system was embedded into HIS system according to the actual situation of the hospital. According to the requirements of the medical and administrative departments, the principle of approach was formulated, and the patient treatment process of clinical pathway was analyzed. The clinical pathway system based on his system was analyzed and designed according to the current situation of hospital information system. The system includes stage maintenance, form filling, execution, printing, specific indicators and implementation effect evaluation, review and release, and coding implementation. Result: The clinical pathway system is embedded in HIS resident doctor station and resident nurse station, which is convenient for doctors and nurses to operate the clinical pathway work for patients. The doctor station realizes the mutual selection of patients orders in clinical pathway and key medical orders in stage form, and completes two tasks at a time, which reduces the workload of doctors. Conclusion: The clinical pathway system has been launched and extended to 25 departments, including 109 diseases. It realizes the association of inpatient orders and clinical pathway key orders, and realizes the needs of medical departments to collect disease specific indicators and implementation effect evaluation data. It improves the disease coverage of clinical pathway system and provides data support for hospital disease management.
