The Inspiration of China and Western Hospital Compensation Research on Management Practice of Public Hospitals:Literature Analysis Based on Citespace and Vosviewer

  Abstract: The hospital compensation system affects the attitude and behavior of medical workers. Effective compensation incentives help to improve the service quality and work efficiency of medical workers and ease the doctor-patient relationship. Using CiteSpace and Vosviewer, this study focuses on the key words of hospital compensation research in China and western Countries, making a system analysis on the research hotspots of hospital compensation. This research summarizes the research in the field of Chinese hospital compensation from the topics of compensation reform, compensation system, performance appraisal, compensation management and compensation results, and summarizes the research in the field of foreign hospital compensation from the topics of hospital quality, compensation system, performance evaluation and compensation results, which provides enlightenment for the compensation reform of hospitals in China. This study suggests that Chinas public hospitals should learn from the position value-oriented compensation system in UK, which is dominated by main fixed compensation and supplemented by bonus, carry out total rewards incentive, strengthen hospital performance evaluation, pay attention to the health of medical personnel, fully reflect the public welfare, reflect the position value, ability value and labor value of medical workers, mobilize the enthusiasm of medical personnel, better serve the people, and improve the quality of medical service.
