Abstract: 【Abstract】Objective:To analyze the impact of Xiaoyanxiong Decoction combined with Maxing Shiganoction and bronchoscopy alveolar lavage therapy on inflammation indicators and pulmonary function in patients with bronchiectasis and infection. Methods:A total of 80 patients with bronchiectasis complicated by infection admitted to Ganzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2024 to March 2025 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group (40 cases each) using a random number table method. The control group received conventional treatment combined with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage, while the treatment group received Xiaotianxian Decoction combined with Maxing Shigan Decoction on this basis. The two groups were compared in terms of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores (cough, sputum production, fever, chest tightness, hemoptysis), inflammatory indicators , pulmonary function , safety, and clinical efficacy. Results:After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores and inflammatory indicator levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Pulmonary function indicators in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), with a statistically significant difference. During the treatment period, follow-up observation showed no adverse events related to bronchoscopic alveolar lavage or drug adverse reactions in either group. Conclusion: Xiaoyanxiong Decction combined with Maxing Shigan Decoction and bronchoscopy alveolar lavage therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, inhibit their inflammatory response, and improve the pulmonary function of patients, with significant clinical effects and high safety.
