Research progress on the information needs of primary caregivers of diabetic families

    Abstract: Family caregivers play an important role in the care and management of diabetes and face information needs from many aspects. Relevant information will have a dual impact on patients and the main caregivers of the family, but the information needs of the main caregivers of some diabetic families have not been fully paid attention to and met. Therefore, the research progress of information on the importance of information for diabetic patients, the information needs of the main caregivers of diabetic patients in different periods, and the form of support are reviewed, in order to provide reference for improving the quality of care and life of diabetic patients and their caregivers.
