Abstract: Objective: This study aims to explore the key influencing factors of the pre-hospital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) effect in patients with cardiac arrest. Methods: A total of 727 patients with cardiac arrest who were admitted to the second branch of the Tianjin Emergency Center from January to September 2024 were selected as the sample for data analysis. Among them, 81 patients were successfully resuscitated after CPR, with a success rate of 11.14%. Patients were categorized into a successful group (81 cases) and a failed group (646 cases) based on the resuscitation outcomes. The effectiveness of CPR was evaluated, and the key factors influencing the success of pre-hospital CPR were explored. Basic information such as gender and age was compared between the two groups, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors affecting the success rate of pre-hospital resuscitation in patients with cardiac arrest. Results: Univariate analysis showed that gender, age ≥60 years, whether witness performed CPR, and whether the dose of epinephrine was ≥5mg were not significantly associated with the outcomes of pre-hospital CPR (P>0.05). The study revealed that the rescue effect of patients with cardiac arrest was significantly related to the place of onset, the identity of the witness (whether a medical staff), whether CPR was initiated within 6 minutes, pre-hospital emergency response time, whether the arrhythmia was shockable, ventilation methods, whether intravenous access was established, and whether CPR was performed adequately (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that the rescue success rate of patients with cardiac arrest was significantly related to the place of onset, pre-hospital emergency response time, whether the arrhythmia was shockable, and ventilation methods (P<0.05). Conclusion: Comprehensive analysis suggests that multiple factors influence the effectiveness of pre-hospital CPR, including the place of onset, pre-hospital response time, whether the arrhythmia is shockable, and ventilation methods. Our pre-hospital emergency care should focus on these variables and implement precise intervention strategies to improve the rescue success rate of resuscitation in patients with pre-hospital cardiac arrest.
