Research on the structural elements and combination path of Internet hospital service utilization：A fuzzy sets qualitative comparative analysis based on Andersons model

  Abstract: 【s】Objective: By studying the structural elements and combination paths of Internet hospital development, this research aims to provide suggestions for the efficient development of Internet hospitals. Methods: On the basis of existing research, from the patients perspective, starting from Andersens mode’s research framework, using the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) method as analysis tool. Results: This study established a causal chain including multiple concurrences of predisposing characteristics, enabling resources and need factors?, constructed six condition combination paths to improve the utilization of Internet hospital services for the pre-diagnosis, consultation, and follow-up phases, through the factors of affordability professionalism Through the factors of economy, professionalism, guidance, etc., the study covers the needs of different medical conditions of different age groups and different disease groups. Conclusions and Suggestions: The study found that there are significant differences in the characteristics of the applicable patient groups of Internet hospitals at various phases, showing that the characteristics of the patient groups cannot using a single variable to improve the service utilization of Internet hospitals, but need to play a role in the way of conditional grouping. The patient groups of young + pre-diagnosis, young + consultation experience and middle-high aged + follow-up are the groups that play a better role in the service utilization of Internet hospitals. It is recommended to deepen medical supply-side reform and differentiate services to meet patients needs.
