Evaluation of patient experience in the context of Internet + medical treatment: a systematic review

  Abstract: Objective To explore the evaluation methods, dimensions and results of patient experience under the background of Internet + medical. Methods This study adopts the method of systematic review, using 3 English databases and 2 Chinese databases as data sources, and selecting documents according to the PRISMA criteria. Results Finally, 16 articles were included. The evaluation methods include qualitative research, quantitative research and mixed method research. The evaluation dimensions are different in different research objects and patients. The evaluation results show that most of the patient experience is positive. The factors that hinder patient experience are technical and clinical quality, privacy, security, accountability, ease of use, etc. Conclusions The research on patient experience under the context of Internet + medical shows the trend of diversification of objects and scientific methods. Through the evaluation of patients experience, we can understand patients views and perceptions of technological innovation in the health field and provide a basis for realizing patient-centered medical care. In result, we put forward three suggestions for the future advancement of Internet + medical care.
