Abstract: Objective To understand the current situation and characteristics of doctors live broadcasts on the internet medical platform, and to provide policy suggestions for its standardized and orderly development. Methods We collected 1338 live broadcast data from the internet medical platform, and analyze the current situation and impact of the doctors online live broadcast mode using descriptive analysis, single-factor analysis and logistic multiple regression analysis. Results Most of the doctors in the online live broadcast are highly qualified doctors in the eastern region and large hospitals. The average daily broadcast volume is 464 times, and the contents are mainly doctor-patient online Q & A. The live broadcast has a short-term drainage effect on the online visits of doctors’ online websites. Conclusion The medical live broadcast has a large scale. It is suitable for health popularization and online health consultation. The key of its development is high-quality content. However, it still needs to be standardized and guided in terms of medical quality and safety.
