Qualitative systematic evaluation of influencing factors and avoidance strategies of health information avoidance behavior in patients with chronic diseases

  Abstract: Based on qualitative systematic evaluation method, included the literature on health information avoidance behavior of patients with chronic diseases published from January 2001 to January 2022 in Web of Science, PubMed, CNKI, SinoMed and Wanfang Medical Network databases. The influencing factors and avoidance strategies of chronic disease patients information avoidance behavior in information activities were systematically analyzed, and 10 influencing factor indicators and 4 avoidance strategy indicators were summarized. Studies have shown that due to the influence of individual, cognitive, emotional, and situational factors, some patients with chronic diseases will avoid health information by blocking information sources, diverting attention, etc.
