Abstract: This paper focuses on Professor Xiang Kaiwei’s theory of “flexible tendons, properly aligned bones, and firm muscles,” proposing that radiculopathic cervical spondylosis should be treated based on a trinity of “tendons, bones, and muscles.” The clinical approach emphasizes: prioritizing tendon regulation to release fascia and muscles and unblock meridians; focusing on bone realignment to precisely adjust the overall biomechanical structure of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine and restore proper bone alignment; strengthening the muscles as the foundation, using active functional training to reinforce the deep stabilizing muscle groups of the neck and consolidate therapeutic effects. The treatment emphasizes a combination of active and passive approaches, selects a small number of acupoints, and organically integrates passive manipulation with active exercise. This approach embodies the academic characteristics of holistic spinal adjustment and the simultaneous treatment of both symptoms and root causes, yielding significant clinical efficacy.
