Abstract: Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that occurs in young men. It is mainly characterized by inflammation, calcification and rigidity of the spine and sacroiliac joints. The disability rate is high. At present, the etiology and pathogenesis are not completely clear, and there is no radical cure in clinical practice. Traditional Chinese medicine has certain advantages in improving symptoms and delaying the progress of the disease, but the existing syndrome differentiation system has certain limitations. Therefore, under the guidance of Professor Wu Hong, combined with clinical practice and ancient book research, the author puts forward the theory of Yang Sheng Ge Yin as a guide to explore the pathogenesis and treatment of AS in young men. This article discusses the origin and development of this theory, analyzes its internal relationship with young male AS in terms of constitution, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations, and proposes a treatment method based on clearing heat and detoxifying, combined with dehumidification and phlegm, and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, so as to provide new theoretical basis and reference for clinical medication.
