Abstract: ?:?Objective?: To explore the medication rules and academic thoughts of National Master of Chinese Medicine Professor Wang Qingguo in treating chronic dizziness based on the Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform. Methods: A total of 367 initial prescriptions for chronic dizziness treated by Professor Wang Qingguo from December 2015 to September 2024 were collected. The Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform (V2.3.5) was used to statistically analyze the frequency, properties, flavors, meridian tropisms, and efficacy distribution of the herbs. Association rule analysis, cluster analysis, and complex network analysis were employed to mine the core herb pairs and formula structures. Results: The 367 prescriptions involved 432 traditional Chinese medicines, with a total frequency of 6,212 times. There were 14 high-frequency herbs (frequency ≥100). The top 10 herbs were Bupleurum (71.39%), Honey-fried Licorice (68.66%), Prepared Pinellia (58.58%), White Peony Root (48.77%), Calcined Oyster Shell (44.96%), Ginseng (44.14%), Cinnamon Twig (44.14%), Chinese Angelica (42.78%), Poria (41.42%), and Astragalus Root (41.14%). Herb properties were mainly warm and slightly cold; flavors were predominantly sweet, pungent, and bitter; the herbs primarily entered the spleen, lung, and liver meridians. The core efficacies were drying dampness and resolving phlegm, lifting yang qi, and promoting fluid production to nourish blood. Association rule analysis identified high-confidence herb pairs such as Bupleurum-Honey-fried Licorice and Prepared Pinellia-Bupleurum. Cluster analysis yielded 6 effective herb combinations (e.g., Poria-Tangerine Peel for drying dampness and resolving phlegm; Calcined Oyster Shell-Baked Scutellaria Root-Bupleurum-Prepared Pinellia for harmonizing Shaoyang). Complex network analysis extracted a core prescription composed of 12 herbs, including Bupleurum, Honey-fried Licorice, and Prepared Pinellia. Conclusion: Professor Wang Qingguo believes that the pathogenesis of chronic dizziness is fundamentally characterized by deficiency with excess manifestation, closely related to dysfunction of the liver and spleen, and impairment of the Shaoyang pivot. His treatment strategy focuses on regulating the liver as the core, emphasizing harmonizing qi and blood, mediating the Shaoyang pivot, and addressing both phlegm and blood stasis. He is skilled in the flexible modification and combination of classical and contemporary formulas, such as using Modified Minor Bupleurum Decoction (Xiao Chaihu Tang) and Astragalus and Cinnamon Twig Five Substances Decoction (Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Tang) as the basis for modification, forming a distinctive syndrome differentiation and treatment system that provides an important reference for the clinical treatment of chronic dizziness.
