Treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Based on the “One Qi Circulation,Earth as Pivot with Four Elements”Theory

• 摘要：文章介绍嵇冰教授运用“土枢四象，一气周流”理论辨治慢性疲劳综合征（CFS）的临床经验。嵇冰教授认为CFS的基本病机是中虚枢滞、一气不周，故从脾胃升降特性出发，确立益气健脾、化湿行滞为主，兼以肝肺同调、交通心肾的治法，以期恢复人体中土斡旋、左升右降、水火既济的圆运动状态，为CFS的中医辨治提供新思路。

  Abstract: This article introduces Professor JI Bings clinical experience in treating chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) based on the theory of “One Qi Circulation,Earth as Pivot with Four Elements”. Professor JI Bing holds that the pathogenesis of CFS is rooted in insufficiency and stagnation of the central pivot, with incomplete circulation of qi. Therefore, based on the ascending and descending characteristics of the spleen and stomach, the treatment principle is mainly to tonify qi and strengthen the spleen, transform dampness and resolve stagnation, while also harmonizing the liver and lungs and connecting the heart and kidneys. The goal is to restore the bodys circular movement in which the central earth rotates, the left ascends and the right descends, and water and fire are in balance, providing new ideas for the TCM differential treatment of CFS.
