Abstract: Purpose/Significance To address the current issues of unclear training objectives and insufficient teaching resources in the dual-teacher collaborative training of masters degree in medical library and intelligence, this study proposes a “three-rings and four-chains” dual-teacher collaborative training system to achieve deep integration between industry and education and enhance the quality of training for high-level medical information talent. Method/Process Based on the concept of three complete education and employment-oriented education, this study conducted an in-depth analysis of the current challenges in dual-instructor training for medical MLIS programs. Focusing on three key rings—course experiments, professional practices, and graduation employment—and four chains—the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain—a “Three Rings and Four Chains” collaborative training framework was established. Specific implementation pathways were proposed to ensure seamless integration between the three rings and deep integration across the four chains.Result/Conclusion Through strategies such as redefining training objectives, optimizing the dual-teacher team, AI-enabled teaching, and reforming the evaluation system, this framework effectively promotes collaborative cooperation between dual teachers and multi-party collaboration among industry, academia, research, and medicine. It provides practical guidance for the innovation of dual-teacher collaborative training models and educational reforms in masters degree in medical library and intelligence.
