Abstract: Purpose/Significance To grasp the development status of clinical decision support system (CDSS) as a whole; to provide reference for domestic CDSS vendors research on CDSS-related technologies. Process/Methodology Firstly, we analyzed the CDSS public patent data in terms of application trends, patent distribution, patent owners, and technology field distribution, then we analyzed the patent owners of each category relying on word frequency and interword vectors, and finally analyzed the technology association and patent exclusivity related situations based on active patent owners. Results/Conclusions The overall number of CDSS patent disclosures is growing, and as of August 2022, the total number of CDSS patent disclosures is 2,613; the patent technologies are mainly concentrated in the fields of G06 and A61, and the number of patents disclosed by Ping An Group is much higher than other patent owners; at the same time, each patent owner is trying to achieve technological breakthroughs and innovations in order to build their own patent defense barriers.
