Abstract: Medical artificial intelligence can improve the provision of medical services by affecting the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Health technology assessment has been widely used internationally in the access of new medical technology, the determination of medical insurance payment scope and so on. This paper discusses the health technology evaluation path and application in Britain, Australia and Europe, summarizes its health technology evaluation process and characteristics, constructs the clinical application evaluation path of medical artificial intelligence in China, and puts forward policy suggestions for further development, so as to provide decision-making basis for the development of clinical application of medical artificial intelligence technology and health technology evaluation in China.
