Research status of ontology in the field of traditional Chinese Medicine

  Abstract: Through literature research, screening and statistics on the ontology research in the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the past decade, this paper combs the research progress and theme distribution of the existing ontology in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, and reviews and ponders on the shortcomings of the current ontology research of traditional Chinese medicine. Most of the existing Chinese medicine domain ontologies do not use the top-level ontology, and lack of collaborative mapping with existing standards, term sets and ontologies. And the formal expression and semantic expression standards, scientific data sharing and other aspects still need to be improved.
