Research and practice of hospital data quality improvement method based on double closed loop mode

  Abstract: Contemporary public hospitals are gradually turning to high-quality development under the background of national policies, and the development of hospital data governance has gradually become systematic and normalized. Traditional data governance solutions have shortcomings such as lag in problem feedback and difficulty in locating source data quality problems. Starting from the high-level review practice of electronic medical records, this paper proposes a closed-loop real-time data governance PDCA management based on the closed-loop of hospital business, and forms a new model of continuous data governance with double closed-loop. This mode has the characteristics of real-time, rapid location of source data problems, etc., which effectively helps hospitals improve hospital data quality through evaluation and promotion, and also provides a long-term sustainable hospital data quality monitoring solution.
