Abstract: Objective To investigate the Effect of cluster nursing mode on shoulder function recovery and quality of life of patients with breast cancer after modified radical mastectomy. Methods A total of 160 patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy for breast cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Science and Technology from December 2015 to April 2019 were selected and randomly divided into a experimental group of 80 cases and a control group of 80 cases.Intervention using clustered nursing mode.The two groups of patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy were compared for their shoulder motion and the quality of life of breast cancer patients. Results The shoulder abduction activity, shoulder rotation activity, lifting function and patient satisfaction of the patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P <0.001); Social/family status, emotional status, functional status and additional attention scores were higher than the control group,and the differences were highly statistically significant (P <0.001).Conclusions The cluster nursing model has a positive effect on the restoration of shoulder joint function and the improvement of life quality in patients with improved radical breast cancer.
