Abstract: Purpose/Significance To analyze the characteristics and problems of medical-engineering integration talents training in information majors of traditional Chinese medicine universities, and to provide reference for professional construction and compound talents training. Method/Process Content analysis method was used to analyze the talent training objectives and curriculum system of 40 information undergraduate majors in 17 Chinese medicine universities, and cluster analysis was carried out with the proportion of four major courses as variables. Result/Conclusion Interdisciplinary knowledge accounts for 5.96 % of the training objectives ; among the 592 courses, information technology accounted for 70.10 %, and medical-engineering cross-technology only accounted for 9.29 %. The 40 specialties are divided into four categories : information technology-oriented, medical foundation strengthening, medical information fusion and medical engineering cross deepening, of which 19 are information technology-oriented. At present, there are still some problems in the training, such as insufficient interdisciplinary knowledge objectives, insufficient curriculum integration, and weak practical innovation training. The reform of talent training should be deepened through medical and engineering collaborative teaching and research, characteristic curriculum system and real scene practice teaching.
