Research on the Construction of the Model for Cultivating AI+ Medicine micro-professional Talents Based on KAS-E Framework

    Abstract: Purpose/Significance This study aims to construct “AI + Medicine” micro-major talent cultivation model and explore its optimization pathways. Method/Process Eighteen “AI+Medicine” micro-major training programs from domestic universities were used as samples. Reflective thematic analysis was employed to conduct hierarchical coding and theme extraction of the programs, and a talent cultivation model was constructed in conjunction with Dewey’s “New Three Centers” of Education theory, while optimization pathways were summarized. Result/ Conclusion The KAS-E framework is proposed in this study. Through a reflective thematic analysis of training programs, two aspects, four dimensions, 13 core themes, and 44 sub-themes were identified, revealing a diversified cultivation model encompassing the four dimensions of knowledge, ability, skills, and evaluation. Based on this, a multidimensional collaborative talent cultivation model for the AI + Medicine micro-major was constructed. The internal logic of talent cultivation in this field was clarified, and five optimization pathways were proposed.
