Overview of clinical research of different famous acupuncture treatment for insomnia

  Abstract: In recent years, the representative medical scientific research literature on the prevention and treatment of insomnia by the famous acupuncture method was comprehensively collated to provide reference for clinical application or research on the prevention and treatment of insomnia by the famous acupuncture method, so as to better promote the effective application of the famous acupuncture method in modern medicine. The results show that different acupuncture methods have good effect and few side effects, and can improve the sleep state and quality of life of insomnia patients to a certain extent. However, the clinical trial design is not rigorous, the long-term efficacy is still not clear, and the therapeutic mechanism needs to be explored. In the future, efforts should be made to improve the methodological quality of clinical trials so as to promote their innovation and development.
