Abstract: “A country cannot live without young people, and young people cannot live without awakening.” College students are the most promising young people. They are the pillars of the country’s future and the hope of the nation. In the context of the new era, we should pay attention to the development of college students to ensure that they are not affected by problems in the ideological field and contribute to the development of the country. At present, ideological work is one of the key tasks of colleges and universities, and it plays a decisive role in the development of education. Colleges and universities are not only the cradle of cultivating talents, but also an important position for spreading advanced culture and carrying forward the main theme. Therefore, doing a good job in ideological work will help strengthen the theoretical literacy of teachers and students in colleges and universities and contribute to the development of our country; it will help cultivate and practice the core socialist values, guide teachers and students to establish lofty moral qualities, and create a clean atmosphere. An upright campus environment helps prevent and resist the erosion of various erroneous ideas and concepts, improves the political acumen and discernment of teachers and students, resolutely resists the influence of various erroneous ideological trends, and safeguards national security and cultural sovereignty.
