Progress in the Mechanisms and Treatment of Oxaliplatin-Induced Acute Peripheral Neurotoxicity

• 摘要：奥沙利铂致周围神经病变(oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy, OIPN)是一种以末梢神经炎为特征的感觉神经病变,其发病机制尚未完全明确,相比于慢性神经毒性,急性OIPN的研究相对较少,西医在治疗方面,以度洛西汀、抗氧化剂和单唾液酸四己糖神经节苷脂等对症治疗药物为主。在祖国医学领域,主要包括中药内服和外治的方法。临床前的初步研究取得了一些成果,还必须经过大量严格的临床实验来验证。因此,进一步探究急性OIPN发生发展机制,总结治疗方案,具有重要意义。

  Abstract: Oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy (OIPN) is a sensory nerve disorder characterized by peripheral neuritis, with its pathogenesis still not fully understood. Compared to chronic neurotoxicity, there has been relatively less research on acute OIPN. Western medicine primarily uses drugs such as duloxetine, antioxidants, and monosialotetrahexosylganglioside (GM1) for treatment. In traditional Chinese medicine, methods mainly include oral and external therapies with herbal medicine. Preliminary preclinical studies have achieved some results, but extensive and rigorous clinical trials are necessary for validation. Therefore, further investigation into the mechanisms underlying the onset and development of acute OIPN and summarizing treatment strategies are of significant importance.
