The research progress on the association between MMP-9 and schizophrenia and its therapeutic prospects.

• 摘要：基质金属蛋白酶(MMP)-9是一种关键的锌依赖性内切蛋白酶,能够降解多种细胞外基质蛋白,参与调节正常生理过程(如细胞迁移、组织重塑等)和多种病理过程。研究表明,MMP-9在多种疾病(如癌症、动脉粥样硬化等)的发生发展中发挥重要调控作用,成为潜在的疾病诊断和治疗靶点,这些发现引起了学者对MMP-9作为精神分裂症免疫学标志物潜力的关注。本文旨在综述近年来国内外关于MMP-9与精神分裂症关系的研究进展,总结目前该领域的研究现状,为未来相关研究提供参考。

  Abstract: Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) is a key zinc-dependent endoprotease that can degrade a variety of extracellular matrix proteins and participate in the regulation of normal physiological proces-ses (such as cell migration, tissue remodeling, etc.) and a variety of pathologi-cal process. Research shows that MMP-9 plays an important regulatory role in the occurrence and development of various diseases and has become a pote-ntial target for disease diagnosis and treatment. These findings have attracted scholars attention to the potential of MMP-9 as an immunological marker for schizophr-enia.
