A Study on the Current Status and Enhancement Pathways of Electronic Health Literacy among Middle-aged and Elderly People in Guangzhou City

• 摘要：目的/意义 分析中老年人电子健康素养现水平的动态变化及其影响因素，探究中老年人电子健康素养的薄弱环节，为提高中老年人电子健康素养水平提供借鉴。方法/过程 采用以线上线下相结合的方式对广州市内505位中老年人进行问卷调查，用统计软件SPSS24.0对调查结果进行分析。结果/结论 中老年人电子健康素养平均得分为33.88±10.92，处于中等水平；其电子健康素养的薄弱环节是健康信息的交互和评判能力不足；个体因素是影响中老年人电子健康素养的首要因素。政府相关部门应加大对中老年人数字健康适老化建设的政策及资金支持；社区应开展“低龄化帮扶老龄化”的助老模式；数字健康APP的设计者应遵从“以中老年人为中心”的适老化改造；中老年人自身不应内化外界的“年龄歧视”。

  Abstract: Purpose/Significance This study aims to analyze the dynamic changes in electronic health literacy levels among the elderly and middle-aged population, explore their weaknesses, and provide insights for improving their electronic health literacy. Methods/Process A combined online and offline questionnaire survey was conducted among 505 middle-aged and elderly individuals in Guangzhou city. The results were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS 24.0. Results/Conclusions In this survey, the average electronic health literacy score for the middle-aged and elderly population was 33.88±10.92, indicating a moderate level. The main weakness in their electronic health literacy lies in the insufficient ability to interact with and evaluate health information. Individual factors were identified as the primary influencers of electronic health literacy among this demographic. Government departments should increase policy and financial support for digital health adaptations for the elderly. Communities should implement support models that facilitate intergenerational assistance. Designers of digital health applications should adhere to elderly-friendly modifications centered on the needs of middle-aged and older users.The elderly and middle-aged population should not internalize age-related discrimination from society.
