Research and discussion on the improvement of public health literacy in China under the new media environment

• 摘要：目的 分析新媒体环境下我国居民健康素养水平现状，探索持续提升我国居民健康素养的路径。 方法 收集2012-2022年共11年居民健康素养监测数据并结合文献分析法进行实证研究。结果 我国居民健康素养水平虽然呈稳定上升态势，但居民健康素养水平还存在发展不平衡、知行不一等现象。此外，新媒体环境下的健康信息传播还存在健康信息评估体系不完善、平台监督缺乏等问题。结论 新媒体环境下，应借助大数据、人工智能等技术对不同人群实施健康信息精准传播，优化健康行为，并建立健康信息评估标准及体系以及加强新媒体健康信息传播监管。发挥新媒体在健康促进与健康教育等方面的优势，提升我国居民健康素养水平。

  Abstract: Objective Through analyzing the current situation of health literacy level of Chinese residents and combining with the current environment of new media, we explore the strategies to continuously improve public health literacy in China. Methods This study collected and extracted the data of health literacy monitoring. Results For 11 years from 2012 to 2022, analyzing them in the light of regional differences between urban and rural areas, three aspects and six types of health problems. Although the level of public health literacy in China has been on a steady rise in recent years, in the era of new media, there are still phenomena such as knowledge gap phenomenon and disconnection between health behavior and health. Besides, problems such as imperfection of health information evaluation system and lack of government supervision for health communication still exist. Conclusion In the new media environment, we should make use of new media technology to implement accurate health information dissemination to different groups of people, adopt effective health dissemination strategies, optimize health behavior, establish health information evaluation standards and systems and strengthen the supervision of new media health dissemination, so as to give play to the great role of new media in health promotion and health education, and improve the level of public health literacy in China.
