Intergenerational transmission of health from the perspective of family health cycle: an empirical analysis based on CHNS 2015

• 摘要：目的：基于家庭健康循环视角及家庭健康系统理论，探究健康状况、健康行为及健康认知的代际传递，为制定相关健康促进政策提供依据。方法：基于CHNS 2015年数据，采用多分类logistic模型，有序logistic模型，以及OLS模型分别探讨母亲主客观健康状况，健康行为及健康认知水平对子代主客观健康状况，健康行为及健康认知水平的影响。结果：母亲BMI显著影响子代BMI，母亲超重或肥胖，则子女超重与肥胖的相对风险高; 母亲自评健康状况显著影响子代自评健康状况; 母亲健康食物偏好得分与运动得分显著影响子代健康食物偏好得分与运动得分; 母亲的健康认知水平显著影响子代的健康认知水平。结论：健康状况、健康行为、健康认知存在显著的代际传递现象，建议开展亲子健康促进行动，建立健康家庭环境。

  Abstract: Objective: To examine the intergenerational transmission of health status, health behavior, and health knowledge based on family health cycle theory, and to provide a basis for health-related policies. Methods: Based on CHNS 2015, multinomial logistic models, ordinary logistic models, and OLS models were used to examine the intergenerational transmission of health status, health behaviors, and health knowledge. Results: Mother’s BMI was significantly associated with offspring’s BMI, children whose mother was overweight or obese, had a higher relative risk ratio of being overweight or obese (RRR=3.45，95%CI：1.29, 9.23；RRR=3.06, 95%CI: 1.16, 8.08); mother’s self-reported health status was significantly associated with children’s self-reported health status (OR:5.46, 95%CI: 3.94, 7.56; OR: 7.82, 95%CI: 4.37, 13.99). Mother’s healthy food preference score and physical activity score were significantly associated with children’s healthy food preference score and physical activity score respectively (β=0.28, 95%CI:0.18, 0.37; β=0.33, 95%CI: 0.24, 0.42); mother’s health knowledge was also significantly associated with children’s health knowledge (β=0.60, 95%CI: 0.50, 0.71). Conclusion: Intergenerational transmissions of health status, health behaviors, and health knowledge are significant among Chinese people, precise health promotion should be carried out in family units and pay attention to parents and offspring simultaneously.
