Advances in Understanding the Role of Klotho Protein in Ischemic Stroke

• 摘要：:Klotho基因是新发现的一种抗衰老基因,该基因编码一种具有强大抗衰老特性的跨膜蛋白,研究表明Klotho蛋白参与了多种疾病的发生发展,包括血管钙化、动脉粥样硬化、高血压、肾病损伤、甲状旁腺功能亢进、糖尿病及肿瘤等,具有抗炎、抗氧化、血管保护等作用。有研究提示klotho蛋白与缺血性脑卒中(ischemicstroke,IS)病理生理演变过程密切相关。本研究探讨klotho蛋白与缺血性脑卒中的关联性,为klotho蛋白在缺血性脑卒中预测及诊疗过程中提供新思路。

  Abstract: The Klotho gene is a recently discovered anti-aging gene. It encodes a transmembrane protein with potent anti-aging properties. Research indicates that Klotho protein is involved in the pathogenesis and progression of various diseases, including vascular calcification, atherosclerosis, hypertension, renal injury, hyperparathyroidism, diabetes, and tumors, and exerts anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and vasculoprotective effects. Studies suggest that Klotho protein is closely related to the pathophysiological processes of ischemic stroke (IS). This study investigates the association between Klotho protein and ischemic stroke, aiming to provide new insights for the prediction, diagnosis, and treatment of ischemic stroke.
