Evaluation of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washingin preventing and treating complications after endoscopic ligation of internal hemorrhoids

• 摘要：目的 观察中药局部熏洗对内痔内镜下套扎术后并发症的临床疗效。方法 回顾性分析2021年1月至2023年12月本院收治的94例行内痔内镜下套扎治疗患者的临床资料,根据术后是否使用中药熏洗分为熏洗组(51例)和对照组(43例)。比较两组患者术后疼痛、出血、肛门坠胀及短期复发率。结果 熏洗组术后第3天、第7天疼痛评分较术后8小时显著降低(P＜0.05),且疼痛缓解程度优于对照组(P＜0.05)。熏洗组术后出血事件发生率及短期复发率均低于对照组(P＜0.05)。结论 中药局部熏洗可有效缓解内痔内镜下套扎术后疼痛及肛周坠胀不适,减少术后出血及短期复发,疗效显著。

  Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of local fumigation and washing with traditional Chinese medicine on complications after endoscopic ligation of internal hemorrhoids. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 94 patients who underwent endoscopic ligation for internal hemorrhoids in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023. They were divided into a fumigation-washing group (51 cases) and a control group (43 cases) according to whether traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing were applied postoperatively. Postoperative pain, bleeding, anal distension, and short-term recurrence rates were compared between the two groups. Results The pain scores on the 3rd and 7th day after surgery in the fumigation-washing group were significantly lower than those at 8 hours postoperatively (P<0.05), and the degree of pain relief was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative bleeding events and the short-term recurrence rate in the fumigation-washing group were both lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Local fumigation and washing with TCM can effectively alleviate pain and perianal distension discomfort after endoscopic ligation of internal hemorrhoids, reduce postoperative bleeding and short-term recurrence, with significant clinical efficacy.
