Adipose vascular matrix fraction combined with platelet-rich fibrin in the treatment of chronic skin ulcers

  Abstract: This review highlights the therapeutic potential of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in the management of chronic cutaneous ulcers. SVF facilitates angiogenesis, modulates inflammation and apoptosis, and accelerates re-epithelialization and granulation tissue formation through its differentiation capabilities and secretion of various bioactive factors. PRF contributes to significantly reduced healing time by promoting granulation and epithelial regeneration. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the biological properties, mechanisms of action, and clinical applications of SVF and PRF, offering new perspectives for the treatment of chronic skin ulcers.
