Abstract: Objective: To analyze the current status and research frontiers of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction based on bibliometric methods, providing a reference for its rational clinical application, in-depth research, and innovation. Methods: By retrieving Chinese and English literature related to Huanglian Jiedu Decoction from five databases—CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, SinoMed, and Web of Science Core Collection—over the past 25 years, and using tools such as NoteExpress, CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and R for literature management and analysis. Results: A total of 1,237 Chinese articles and 102 English articles were finally included. Keyword analysis suggests that metabolomics, network pharmacology, signaling pathways, and regulation of autophagy are future research hotspots. Conclusion: In the research field of Huanglian Jiedu decoction, it is necessary to integrate clinical and basic advantages, expand experimental protocols, and strengthen long-term efficacy and safety evaluation. Promote multi-center and large-sample clinical research to explore multi-target and multi-disease synergistic effects and drug interactions.
