Abstract: Purpose/Significance Exploring the motivations and configurations of short-video users participation in correcting pseudo-health information is of great significance for governing the chaos of pseudo-health information dissemination on short-video platforms. Method/Process Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, integrating theories such as perceived risk, social exchange, co-attachment, and self-efficacy, structural equation modeling and fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis were used to analyze the motivations and configurations of short-video users participation in correcting pseudo-health information. Results/Conclusions Psychological safety, reciprocity, subjective norms, community participation, behavioral attitude, outcome expectations, self-efficacy, behavioral intention, and perceived behavioral control all have significant influences on short-video users participation in correcting pseudo-health information. On this basis, three types of antecedent configuration paths of pseudo-health information correction behavior were further discovered: community-driven - low-risk sensitivity type (S1), psychological safety - norm reinforcement type (S2), and efficacy-supported - norm-oriented type (S3). Based on this, targeted suggestions were proposed to encourage users to actively participate in correcting pseudo-health information on short-video platforms.
