Abstract: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs)-associated hypothyroidism is a common immune-related adverse reaction in tumor immunotherapy, and severe ICIs-associated hypothyroidism will not only interrupt the treatment of patients, but also affect the quality of life and prognosis of patients. Western medicine mainly focuses on thyroid hormone supplementation, while TCM takes a holistic approach to individualized syndrome differentiation. This article summarizes the research progress of ICIs-related hypothyroidism in the field of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in recent years.
